First year programming 'Scratch-athon' winner Joseph Labastida

Well done to first year Multimedia student Joseph Labastida whose Scratch game 'Pokémon Battle' was voted best game in the first year 'Scratch-athon'. This event ran as part of the first year programming module. Each student created their own interactive game using the Scratch programming language. The event culminated with the students demoing their Scratch games in front of an audience of their peers on Friday 3rd October 2014. The entries ranged from novel games from the students' own imaginations to recreations of classic arcade games.
