CCTA at Education Conferences April 2011

CCTA was delighted to have researchers present and chair sessions at various education conferences this April.

Andrew Power and Marion Palmer presented at the Fifteenth Annual Conference of the International Research Society for Public Management (IRSPM XV) - Value, Innovation and Partnership http://irspm2011.com/. Andrew Power presented a paper titled New Public Leadership on 11 April and Marion Palmer and Andrew Power presented a paper on The IDEA Project.

Andrew Power and Marion Palmer presented papers at the Educational Studies Association of Ireland Annual 2011 Conference http://www.esai.ie/conference2011 at the Church of Ireland College of Education on 15 April. Marion Palmer presentated on SIF The experience of collaboration on teaching and learning projects in one higher education institute. Andrew Power and Marion Palmer presented on Typologies of partnership in higher education. CCTA was delighted to note that Lucie Corcoran a CCTA master graduate presented on her PhD stuides in cyberbullying.

Marion Palmer chaired a workshop on Assessment and Standards at the Higher Education Colleges Association conference on 15 April. This conference http://www.heca.ie/upcomingEventDetail.php?id=8 of the private higher education providers was an opportunity to share good practice in higher education.
