PSI Student Congress 2011 Success

Congratulations to CCTA students successful at the 2011 Psychological Society of Ireland Student Congress held in UCC. Eight of our final year psychology students presented their work, along with three of the students from the MSc in Cyberpsychology.

We were very successful, with DL141 final year student Siobhan Kavanagh being awarded a commendation for her research project presentation. Congratulations to Dr. Nicola Porter who supervised her research.

In addition, DL155 second year Mary Aiken was awarded second prize in the postgraduate category. Congratulations to Dr Grainne Kirwan who supervised her research.

Dr Grainne Kirwan, Hannah Barton and Cliona Flood CCTA researchers and lecturers were adjudicators for this annual competition. Thanks to UCC Psychology Society for hosting the Student Congress.
