CHI 2010 Student Design Competition

CCTA is delighted to announce that one of the papers by the DL141 3rd year students – Louise Macauley, Siobhan Kavanagh and Emmanuelle Cerovic-Bunn – has been accepted to the finals of the CHI Student Design Competition 2010 The title of their project is Explorawalk. The competition finals take place in Atlanta this April. The competition received close to 90 submissions, mainly from postgraduate students, from around the world.

This is a great achievement, congratulations to Louise, Siobhan and Emmanuelle for getting this far. Thanks to the 3rd Year Group IT Project Team John Greaney, Nicola Porter, Rob Griffin and Anne Wright and Andrew Errity (Usability Engineering) for their work with all the students.
