Dr Suzanne Guerin of UCD (Former president of PSI)delivered a talk entitled Research Skills: for Life not just for Projects. Staff/students interested in doing/supervising/reading research found this seminar especially helpful and relevant.

Multi-media Production and the Non-linear Story
Mr. Harry Youtt, Instructor in the UCLA Extension Writers Program since 1990, where he conducts workshops/classes in fiction, non-fiction, and poetry writing. Co-recipient of the Writers Programs Outstanding Instructor in Creative Writing Award for 2004.
For several years, instructor in the Digital Arts Program at the University of California, teaching courses in writing for convergent media and information design. Harry is a fiction writer and poet, recent collections include: South Bay Stanzas, Outbound for Elsewhere, I’ll Always Be from Lorain and Even the Autumn Leaves. His poetry and short fiction appear in numerous literary journals and have garnered him a Pushcart Prize nomination. He has also conducted periodic poetry readings in Ireland, Wales and the US. Harry is also the creator and writer of the critically acclaimed ABC Television pilot season website for David E. Kelley’s episodic television series: The Practice.
DLS Seminar 2 by Mr. Paul Hayes of Beachhut PR on The Gamefication of Everything;

Paul gave stimulating, challenging and thought-provoking seminar to a packed house. Staff and students enjoyed it very much.
The first of our DLS Seminars took place on Thursday, 28th October 2010, from 6 to 7pm. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ciaran McMahon, a former colleague of ours in IADT, now at the Dublin Business School. Ciaran lectures in the area of Cyberpsychology and delivered a talk dealing with Facebook and psychology.
