Psychology at 2nd Level

The Department of Learning Sciences has been working with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) to develop a Psychology short course for senior cycle. The proposed short course aims to provide students with a general introduction to the study of psychology.

The Department places a strong emphasis on teaching and learning in a student-centred environment and the team are delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of this subject at second level.

The liaison person for the Department is Dr Nicola Porter, Lecturer in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology on the BSc (Hons) Applied Psychology programme.
